My Skagen Watch

Got this watch in Dec. I like its simple, understated, yet slightly unique (cos of the colour) design. I think it’s very me.

I like the story behind the name of the brand:

SKAGEN is a fishing hamlet in Denmark, on the northern tip of the peninsula “Jut Land”. Here two seas surge together in spectacular turbulence amidst the serene beauty of the beaches; sand, sun and sea – in dynamic harmony. The “SKAGEN DENMARK® collection” was a natural name for what we think are the most beautiful watches you can find.

Hope I’ll have a chance to visit the real Skagen in Denmark…

Book: “Take Me Home” by Tina Ko

I got this book on my biz trip to Hong Kong last week. If anyone can come back from this shopping paradise with zero purchase except for a book, that person would be me.

我对这本书一见钟情。除了随便翻了两下，在对内容完全不了解的情况下，就决定把它买下。I’m glad I did! I got home and read the book and I love it!

Movie: The Painted Veil

这是第一部让我边看边一直有想哭的冲动的电影。第一次看电影有这种感觉。静静的，却很多subtle emotional tension. 很平淡却很heart-wrenching.

刘若英的《生日快乐》

是喜欢她的《生日快乐》散文，电影，还是歌曲呢？可以说都是，也可以说都不是。我只是喜欢刘若英而已，就是那么简单。看了电影，觉得比较喜欢她的原著，因为爱情文艺电影拍得不够文艺，还是原著的精简更文艺。早该知道，因为是马楚成导演的。
